Welcome to the City of Dearborn

City_Hall_1web   Welcome to Dearborn, Michigan, hometown of Henry Ford.  Our city combines a laid-back, small-town lifestyle with that of a bustling metropolis.
Our residents enjoy an atmosphere of quiet suburban streets filled with families, young and old. With 43 public parks and annual community gatherings like our “Homecoming” celebration we foster a sense of community and belonging that has allowed Dearborn to be a melting-pot of cultures that have learned to work, play, and live together while sharing with and respecting each other.
But we are not just a quiet suburb. Home to the world headquarters of Ford Motor Co., Dearborn has an active business community and vibrant downtown. The City brings world-class performers to our Ford Community & Performing Arts Center and boasts national attractions like The Henry Ford Museum and Village and the Arab National Museum. This combined with the University of Michigan’s Dearborn campus and the Henry Ford Community College creates a city rich with culture and energy.
Thank you for taking the time the visit our City’s website and we hope you have a chance to get out on the streets to explore our great city.
