Visual Arts Experience starts June 26

This fun-filled activity for ages 7-11 includes drawing, painting, sculpting and working with found objects. Tin Can Tourists 20th Annual Gathering - Saturday, May 20

Tin Can Tourists, America’s oldest trailer and motor coach club, will host an open house at Camp Dearborn on May 20 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Approximately 160 vintage trailer and coaches, dating from the 1930s through the 1980s, will be open to visitors during this annual event. Ranging in size from eight to 30 feet, these tiny restored homes on wheels offer life on the road where space is limited, but style and substance are not. Daily admission to Camp Dearborn is $7. Mutt Strut & Pet Expo

You and your dog can support Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit at the annual Mutt Strut 5K Run & Walk. This charity event at Ford Field Park begins 8 a.m., May 13 and includes demonstrations, shopping, food truck and entertainment. Sign up by going to MuttStrut5K.org.
