Daddy-Daughter Dance (February 3)

The most anticipated event of the year returns! Daddys, and daughters age 12 and under, are invited to join us for this elegant annual affair, the theme of which this year is "Under the Sea." We'll host two Daddy-Daughter Dances on February 3, the first from 3-5 p.m. and the second from 6-8 p.m., at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center. Each event will feature music, pizza, donuts, soft drinks and keepsakes for the daughters. Tickets, priced at $20 per person, must be purchased no later than February 2, 2018. Register for Martian Races (April 14)

Runners from across the country will descend on Ford Field April 14 for this popular annual event, which features a traditional 26-mile marathon and a 13-mile half marathon, as well as a 5K and 10K, and a shorter kids’ marathon. For competitive runners, the 26-mile marathon is a qualifier for the prestigious Boston Marathon. Register at

Moscow Festival Ballet to perform "Cinderella" Saturday, January 6

The Michael A. Guido Theater will begin the new year by welcoming the Moscow Festival Ballet, who will perform “Cinderella” Saturday, January 6, at 8 p.m. A delightful treat for audience members of all ages, “Cinderella” is a timeless tale of a poor, wishful girl who goes to the ball and meets her Prince Charming. Artistic Director Sergei Radchenko, who founded the Moscow Ballet in 1989 is a former principal dancer of the Bolshoi Ballet.
