M-39 (Southfield Freeway) - Expect full and partial lane closures on northbound and southbound M-39 beginning Monday, March 28. The lane closures, between M-153 (Ford Road) and I-96 in Detroit, are necessary for freeway lighting upgrades and bridge repair. The project will continue through December. Alternate routes are advised.

 In addition to the lane closures, M-39 entrance ramps will be closed between Ford Road and the I-96 interchange to minimize traffic congestion and facilitate the necessary work. Ramp closures include those from eastbound and westbound I-96 to southbound M-39, which are expected to remain closed until mid-May.

Telegraph Road - Expect increased traffic along Telegraph as motorists use this as an alternate to M-39 (Southfield Freeway) during construction in the coming months. .

 Chase Road - Construction will take place on Chase Road between Ford Road and Warren Avenue from February through July, 2011. Residents and visitors are urged to find an alternate route. The contractor for these improvements, Pamar Enterprises, will replace the water main, construct new curbs and resurface Chase Road.
