The Design Review Commission assists the City Plan Department and the Building & Safety Department to preserve, protect and enhance the aesthetic appeal of the City, protect property values through application of good design principles. The purpose of the DRC is to implement the B-D zoning development and design standards and, to promote revitalization and reestablishment of the character and identity of the Central Business Districts (B-D).
