the council member directly and leave a message. This is not their full-time
job and they do not have regular office hours.
When are City Council meetings?
The council meets on the first and third
Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in the council chambers. The exact dates
are listed in the city calendar. All council meetings are cablecast
live on CDTV and replayed during the week. Committee of the Whole meetings
are on the Thursday preceding a council meeting at 7 p.m. The public
is welcome at all meetings.

The Council Office is located at City Hall, 13615 Michigan
Ave., near the City Treasurer' Office and the Council Chambers.
When does the city hold elections for City Council?
Election for the seven council members is held every four
years. The next election will take place in 2005.
What are the requirements to run for City Council?
A person must be a Dearborn resident, registered voter
and 18 years of age.
