City Plan, in conjunction with the Legal
Department determines whether a piece of City-owned property will be
listed for sale. There are established procedures for the advertisement
of City-owned property. City Council approval is required for the purchase
or sale of any property by the City.
What is the City's Master Plan
for a particular area?
City Plan can provide information concerning
the Master Plan and future land use changes for the City.
Is the property in Detroit just north
of Paul between Greenfield and Southfield going to revert back to Dearborn?
No. That portion of Detroit was never a part
of the City of Dearborn and there are no future plans for it to be a
part of Dearborn.

is buildable and what the permitted uses are in a particular zoning

Operation Eyesore is a City program for the
removal of temporary and substandard structures. Complaints concerning
tall grass, litter in yards, junk cars, and unsightly houses are handled
by the Building & Safety Department.
