This is the oldest fire station in use as
such and was built in 1938. It was a WPA project of President Franklin
D. Roosevelt's Administration. It provides service to the southeast
portion of the city including the Ford Rouge Complex.
It houses Engine Company 3, Ladder Company 3 and Rescue Company 3.


V-88 1999 McCoy/Miller type 1 medium duty rescue on a
Freightliner chassis. Front light bar is equipped with an Opticom. Vehicle
is fully staffed and equipped as an ALS unit and utilizes a Physio-Control
LP 12, 12 lead cardiac monitor with ECG transmission equipment.


V-22 1979 Sutphen 100 ft. Aerial platform. Steel cab with
stainless steel body. Detroit diesel 8V71 diesel with Allison automatic
trans. Hale 1500 G.P.M. single stage pump with air shift. 300 gal. water
tank. Vehicle carries all NFPA recommended equipment. In addition, it
carries 1-PPV fan, 1 Cutters edge ventilation saw, cribbing for Jaws
of Life, and 1 high rise pack. The vehicle is equipped with a portable
4000 watt generator. This generator has the capability to power the
Quick Rase lights on its own telescoping pole and that of 1 other pumper.
The vehicle's front light bar is equipped with an Opticom. The vehicle
carries 700 ft. of 5 inch hose, 700 ft. of 2 1/2 inch hose, and 2- 200
ft. 1 3/4 inch preconnects. Vehicle has pre-piped breathing air to the
platform. In addition, this vehicle is licensed at the Medical First
Responder level, carries a Physio-Control LP 500 Automatic External
Defibrillator and all necessary related medical equipment.


V-66 1991 Seagrave 50 ft. Telesquirt with stainless steel
body. Detroit diesel 6V92 turbo diesel w/Allison automatic trans. Waterous
1500 G.P.M. 2 stage pump with electric shift. Fecon around the pump
foam system with 30 gal. foam tank. Vehicle equipped with Opticom. Vehicle
is equipped with all NFPA recommended equipment. In addition, this vehicle
carries 1 Partner K-1200 multi-purpose saw and Hurst Jaws of Life, spreaders,
cutters, and power unit. Vehicle carries 800 ft. of 2 1/2 inch hose,
800 ft. of 5 inch hose, 2- 200 ft. 1 3/4 inch preconnects, and 2- 200
ft. booster lines. Vehicle has 500 gallon water tank. Vehicle has 2-
750 watt 110 volt Quick Rase quartz lights on a telescoping pole. In
addition, this vehicle is licensed at the Advanced Life Support level
for Emergency Medical Operations and is equipped with a Physio-Control
LP 12 cardiac monitor and all necessary related medical equipment.
