Power equipment engines can have misrouted fuel lines
Tecumseh Products Company, Tecumseh, Michigan, is recalling about 25,000 engines used in various types and brands of outdoor power equipment. A misrouted fuel line in the engine can be damaged, allowing gasoline to leak, posing a fire hazard.
The recalled engines have model numbers HMSK 80 through 110 and HM 80 through 100. The engines are found in the following: snow throwers, chipper-shredders, generators, pressure washers and wheeled leaf blowers. For a complete list of brand names, retailers/dealers of the engines and dates sold, check FIRE FINDINGS' web site at www.firefindings.com.
