Dearborn residency is not required to apply.
The City of Dearborn Housing Department/Commission is now accepting
applications for senior citizen apartments in five senior high-rise
buildings located throughout the city. Dearborn residency is not required
to apply.
Rent is based on 30 percent of income for all buildings, with a maximum
and minimum rent rate in the two buildings which are wholly city-owned.
Each apartment includes a refrigerator, stove, carpeting, and air conditioning
in units located in the two city-owned buildings. Included utilities
are gas, electric and water. Immediate openings are available in some
buildings.
To apply, visit the City of Dearborn's Housing Department, located
in Dearborn City Hall at the corner of Michigan Avenue and Schaefer
Road. You can get more information on the apartments and the application
process by calling the Housing Department at 313.943.2390.
