Rouge River Watershed Project

The City of Dearborn has joined with many of the communities in the Rouge Watershed in a comprehensive effort to protect the Rouge River. As part of these efforts, the City of Dearborn has established a hotline for reporting suspicious discharges or dumping that could affect the Rouge River.

If you are aware of a situation that could affect the river please call 943.4149. Leave a description of the discharge or dumping, the location at which this is occurring, your name, and a number at which you can be reached. Your message will be forwarded to the responsible department and someone will respond as quickly as possible.

If the problem is occurring outside of the City of Dearborn, please call the Wayne County Department of Environment hotline at 888.223.2363.
