11TH ANNUAL CHILDRENS' FISHING DERBY
JUNE 16 - 22
RENAISSANCE WEEK: A royal celebration
fit for our campers. Gather yon lads and lasses for a jousting good
tyme of merriment and noble competitions. Ye special events include
our annual mini-faire; a king's ransom worth of fun.
JUNE 23 - 29
COUNTRY WEEK: Lasso a heel kickin' week
of yeehaw good times. We've rustled up a week of water fights, a horseshoe
tournament, bike rodeo, and our very own chuck-wagon BBQ.
JUNE 30 - JULY 6
SOUND OFF WEEK: Shake, rattle and roll
into this melodious week. Chime in as we play musical beach towels,
make noise makers and parade through the park. Vote for your camp idol
at our talent show! Join us at the main beach on Saturday, June 30th
for our annual beach bash and out of this world fireworks display.
JULY 7 - 13
PIRATES WEEK: A dead man's chest chucked
full of seaworthy games and activities. Buried treasure, water war games,
peg leg races, and the best dressed pirate are all part of our barnacle
features.
JULY 14 - 20
EXTREME COMPETITION WEEK:
Face a marathon of challenges during this sportacular week. We'll cover
the bases with all the popular sports and add a whimsical twist to some.
"Are you ready” to take on the camp staff in our annual baseball
game?
JULY 21 - 27
RACE WEEK: Start your engines and zoom,
zoom, zoom into this revved up week. A fast track week where we'll race
anything and everything.
JULY 28 - AUG 3
TROPICAL GET-AWAY WEEK: Get your ticket
to paradise during this week of intense fun in the sun. Beat the heat
with our cool crafts, water games and ever popular corn roast.
AUG 4 - 10
SPOOKY WEEK: Grab your broom and whisk
into this week of exciting haunts. Dare to experience our shelter maze
of horrors and decorate your own site in haunting fashion. Make sure
to bring wrapped non-melting candy to pass out to our little ghosts
and goblins.
AUG 11 - 17
SUPERHERO/PRINCESS WEEK: It's a bird,
it's a plane, no it's superhero week at Camp Dearborn! So pack your
costumes, powers, pixie dust and imagination and join us because "there's
no place like camp".
AUG 18 - 24 (colleges back in session-may limit activities)
JUNGLE FEVER WEEK:
Lions, and tigers, and bears, oh my! Take a walk on the wild side as
we roar into this week of animal crafts, an eye spy hike and litterbug
scavenger hunt.
AUG 25 - SEPT 3 (colleges back in session-may limit
activities)
FOND FAREWELL WEEK: Time to wrap up
the summer with a bang. The Classics Band will perform Sunday-September
2nd at 8:00 p.m. Extend your summer-- book a weekend rental or campsite
after Labor Day at reduced rates. Add a group hayride to your camping
reservation and biggee-size the fun!
