SWIM TAGS ON SALE

Swim tags, good for admittance to any of the city's eight outdoor pools, are now available at the service desk of the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center.

The cost for Dearborn residents is $15 for pre-schoolers, $35 for children under age 18, $45 for adults and $35 for senior citizens (ages 60 and over). Infants, under age two, require no tag. Non-resident tags cost $70.

A special family plan allows for the purchase of swim tags for both parents and all children under the age of 18, regardless of the number, for $85.

To obtain swim tags, Dearborn residents must furnish proof of residency. Parents must present a birth certificate for pre-school children, school-aged youngsters must furnish their school-issued ID card and adults must present their driver's license.

Dearborn's outdoor pool season begins May 24 with the opening of Ford Woods and Dunworth Pools.
