The Detroit Symphony Orchestra’s Music Director Leonard Slatkin conducts five community bands comprising 264 players in a rousing performance at the conclusion of the prestigious Motor City Festival of Bands at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center on Sunday. Playing in the musical event were the Farmington Community Band, the Capitol City Brass Band, the Warren Concert Band, the West Michigan Concert Winds and the Motor City Brass Band.
