Dearborn hosts Detroit Symphony Orchestra concert on Friday, Dec. 9

The City of Dearborn is pleased to host the inaugural concert of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra (DSO) Neighborhood Concert Series on Friday, Dec. 9, at 10:45 a.m. at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center, 15801 Michigan Ave.

The Symphony will perform Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons,” J.S. Bach’s “Orchestral Suite No. 3,” and Handel’s “Water Music Suite.” Conducted by Matthew Halls, the performance features violinist Nicola Benedetti.

Other Neighborhood Concerts will be in Beverly Hills, Bloomfield Hills, Grosse Pointe, West Bloomfield Township and Southfield. The concerts are just one element of the DSO’s visionary Neighborhood Residency Initiative, a program aimed at building deep relationships throughout Southeast Michigan.
