Nick Siroskey is director of the City’s Residential Services Department. He brings more than three decades of experience, education and skill to his new position.

Born and raised in Dearborn, Siroskey formally assumed the post on July 1, 2009, as part of a comprehensive restructuring of the functions of Dearborn’s Building & Safety Department, developed by Mayor John B. O’Reilly, Jr., in order to enhance customer service.

Siroskey has a bachelor of science degree in administration from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, and a law degree and an MBA degree from the University of Detroit.

From 1976-2007, he worked for the Ford Motor Land Development Corporation. The wholly-owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company oversees the automaker’s global real estate needs.

From 1997-2007, Siroskey was manager of marketing and sales real estate and vice president of Ford Leasing Development Company, where he had primary responsibility for managing the Company’s dealership real estate portfolio.

Prior to that, he held a variety of other managerial positions with Ford Motor Land, including: manager of corporate real estate services, western region manager for dealership real estate, and North American real estate services manager.

Siroskey is also a 20-year member of the City Plan Commission.

Before his appointment as director of Residential Services, Siroskey had been serving as the point person for Mayor O’Reilly’s Neighborhood Stabilization program.
