Residential Services, Sales Program

Pursuant to City of Dearborn ordinances, homes for sale must be inspected to ensure compliance with minimum housing standards.

No home may be sold unless the purchaser receives a Certificate of Occupancy or a copy of an inspection report and signs a Sales Agreement.

Or, for your convenience, you can mail us the form with your payment and we will contact you to confirm your inspection date and time. Payments are accepted by check, credit card (MasterCard or Visa) or cash.

    Inspection Reports are available for a fee of $5 per property.

    You can complete this application online, print it and bring it in with your payment to receive a copy of an inspection report. Or, for your convenience, you can mail us the form with your payment and let us know if you want the report mailed, e-mailed, or ready for pick-up. Payments are accepted by check, credit card (MasterCard or Visa) or cash.
