Free home energy audit demo Feb. 5 at the McFadden Ross House
The public is invited to a free home energy audit seminar at 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 5 at the historic McFadden Ross House, 915 Brady.
The energy-conservation event is being hosted by the City of Dearborn’s Sustainability Coalition and Ecotelligent Homes.
Guests will have the chance to learn what a home energy audit is and handle the equipment professional service technicians use to perform energy audits.
They will also be able to speak with DTE Energy representatives about the many rebate programs available to residents who have a home energy audit performed and who implement energy-efficiency improvements.
Experts have already conducted an energy audit at the historic McFadden Ross House to use as an example during the demonstration at the Feb. 5 meeting.
To register for this informative home energy audit seminar, contact Dave Norwood, the City of Dearborn’s sustainability coordinator, at 313-943-2159 or email him at
