Camp Dearborn Beach Bash Scheduled for
the 4th of July
Camp Dearborn’s annual summer tradition – the Beach Bash,
held in celebration of Independence Day – will appropriately
take
place on Saturday, July 4, this year.
It will feature an open air concert by the popular band, Fifty Amp
Fuse, from 6-10 p.m, followed by a spectacular fireworks display over
the lake.
In addition to the fun of the Beach Bash, visitors to Camp Dearborn
that day can enjoy acres of picnic sites equipped with tables and
grills, a half mile swimming beach, paddle boat rentals, fishing and
mini-golf.
The Camp Dearborn canteen will be open with food available for purchase.
Additionally, from noon to 10 p.m. ice ream and soft drink vendors
will be on the beach.
The Camp gate opens to the public at 7 a.m. on July 4. Admission at
the gate is $4 per car for residents of Dearborn or Milford, and $6
per car for the general public. After 5 p.m. admission will increase
to $8 for Dearborn and Milford residents and $10 for all others.
Season passes are also available for frequent visitors to purchase.
The seasonal rate is $20 for residents of Dearborn or Milford and
$30 for all others.
