Public invited to attend study sessions on issues regarding City of Dearborn FY 2009 budget

Dates for some sessions have changed; revised schedule listed below

The public is invited to attend any or all of a series of study sessions regarding topics of interest related to the City of Dearborn’s fiscal year 2009 budget.

All study sessions listed below begin at 5:30 p.m. and will be held in the conference room of the Mayor’s Office at Dearborn City Hall, 13615 Michigan Avenue (corner of Schaefer). Please note that dates, times and locations of any study session are subject to change.

• Wednesday, March 26 – swimming pools and splash parks.
  
• Tuesday, April 8 – Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) project.
  
• Wednesday, April 9 – rates and fees, and the status of the parking system.
  
• Monday, April 14 – Mayor’s neighborhood stabilization proposals.
  
• Wednesday, April 16 – Motor Transport Division functions, Wayne County rights-of-way maintenance issues.
  
• Monday, April 28 – capital improvement plan, conference/convention center proposal and Dearborn Animal Shelter issues.
