Why: The Friends For the Dearborn Animal Shelter is offering dog-friendly
obedience training for beginners and intermediate. These classes
will make life with your dog easier and more enjoyable.

The dog training classes hosted by the Friends For the Dearborn Animal
Shelter will teach owners the basics such as down, stay, come, leave
it and much more. This six week class session will also include written
instructional hand-outs and homework assignments to insure that your
training between you and your pet is a success. The Beginner Basic
is for dogs 5 month and older that will teach the basic skills that
all dogs and people living together should know. The Agility for Fun
is for dogs that have had beginner basic. This six week session will
teach your dog how to go through a fun obstacle course such as tunnels,
weave poles, and go over jumps.
All participants must show proof that their dog is up-to-date on
DHPP, rabies, and Bordatella as well as test negative for fecal and
heartworm.
