Exhibiting artists sought for Art Fair at Dearborn’s Homecoming festival
August event seeking 24 artists to showcase work

The Dearborn Community Arts Council is accepting applications for artists to want to exhibit their work during the Art Fair at Dearborn’s annual Homecoming festival this summer.

The Art Fair is being held in conjunction with Homecoming and this year will include all three days of the festival, which is August 1-3.

Homecoming and the Art Fair are at Dearborn’s Ford Field Park. The Art Fair will be Friday, August 1, 5 p.m.-8 p.m., and Saturday, August 2 and Sunday, August 3 from 11 a.m.-8 p.m.

For a rental fee of $125, artisans can show and sell their handmade arts and crafts in highly visible booths to the more than 150,000 visitors that annually attend Homecoming, Dearborn’s premier community festival, now in its 29th year.

Coordinated by the Dearborn Community Arts Council, the Art Fair is one of the major attractions of Homecoming.

The application deadline is May 20, 2008. The Art Fair is limited to 24 artists whose arts and crafts are of original high quality.
