MAP CAPTION: Check this map and call the city leaf
collection hotline at 943-2444 to see when loose leaves will be picked
up from your street. The map can also be found in the City of Dearborn’s
2005 calendar.
For loose leaf pick-up, Dearborn residents are asked to rake leaves
to the curb no later than Friday, November 25, so City crews will have
one full week to remove them before the end of the program, which will
occur during the week of November 28.
Containerized leaves will continue to be picked-up on regular rubbish
days until December 30.
Residents are responsible for moving their parked vehicles from the
street on the day(s) when loose leaves are being collected in their
section of the City.
To see what section of the City your home is located in, view the map
in the City of Dearborn’s 2005 calendar, or see it at www.cityofdearborn.org.
To find out when leaves will be collected in your section, call the
Leaf Pickup Hotline at 943-2444, or check CDTV, the city’s cable
TV channel. CDTV is channel 12 on Comcast cable channel and Channel
10 on WOW.
For regular weekly pick-up of leaves on your rubbish day be sure to
place them in yard waste containers, or paper yard waste bags. Containers
must be 20-32 gallons in capacity and have yard waste collection stickers
on them.
Leaves in plastic bags will not be picked up.
