Michigan Court Rule 1.110; fines, costs and other financial obligations imposed by the court must be paid at the time of assessment, except when the court allows otherwise for good cause shown.
You may make payments in person to the Clerk of Court, 16077 Michigan Avenue, Dearborn. Business hours are 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (except holidays). Forms of payment at the courthouse include cash, personal or certified check, MasterCard, or Visa. Debit card payments can only be accepted for in person payments at the courthouse. Checks should be made payable to “19th District Court” and include your case/citation number on the check.
We also offer a 24-hour payment box located conveniently to the left of the main entrance of the court building.
The 19th District Court offers options to pay fines and costs without having to come to the courthouse.
1. Traffic Citations/Moving Violations
If the bottom of the ticket says to make payment online at CLEMIS, please click here to access the CLEMIS system. Follow the instructions on the website to ensure your payment is made within 14 days of the date the ticket was issued. A $30 late fee is assessed after 14 days. Additional costs will apply if the court has to take steps to collect monies owed.
